RESTRICTED STAKE “Rising Star” Perpetual Trophy
For the highest scoring dog over the two days of competition.
This trophy acknowledges the up and coming talented dogs in the sport of Retriever Trialling and is in memory of the young Golden Retriever - Topbrass WOS Macy (Macy) 18/05/06 -24/04/08 - whose life was cut short just as she was making a mark in Restricted and had the potential to go all the way.

Run 1: A mark along the edge of an elongated lagoon followed by a two bird across the lagoon as the dogs were returning. Judge – George Price

Run 2: Angle mark across the edge of a creek line to grassland followed by a blind approx. 80m down the creek.

Run 1: Double mark – One fall in the gully, one across onto the flat .
5 dogs completed the exercise successfully
Run 2: mark across the gully with 2 blinds at varying distances in the gully
3 dogs completed the task successfully.
Run 3: Double rise along river bed followed by a two bird in the quickly flowing stream
All 3 dogs completed the task.

Overall winner of the “RISING STAR” – congratulations to Trevor Davies and Jagacey Game Seeker (Seeker) for a consistent and quality performance by both the dog and handler over the two days !!!
This is the first dogs Trevor has handled in the sport of Retriever Trialling which makes the performance even more memorable.
